What is LA Angle?

LA Angle is an online test that helps to accurately measure the difference in angle of the longitudinal arch during gait. Research has demonstrated a strong correlation between high LA Angle differences, and foot pathology. The test measures this discrepancy, with immediate visual feedback, easily understood by patients. This helps support your diagnostic recommendations, such as prescription orthotics. 

How quickly does LA Angle compute results? 

Our test gives diagnostic results in near real time. It can easily be worked into the routine visits of ordinary patients as both a diagnostic tool, and a screening procedure. 

What equipment do you need to use the app?

At it’s most basic level you simply need an Internet connected computer device, such as a desktop PC or Mac, a laptop, or even a mobile device, such as an Apple iPad. To use the test in the context of telemedicine, you’ll likely need a device capable of using a webcam, along with the ability to send and receive email attachments.
